How fast will the Wi-Fi be?
LIVEOASIS will have high-speed Wi-Fi, keeping tenants connected.
We are predicated to have speeds of 100mbps per user. This is a fast service and should enable you to stream videos, browse the internet, download study information, play game consoles and video call home.
What's included at LIVEOASIS?
Living at LIVEOASIS is made easy with all your utility bills (gas, electricity & water) included in your monthly rental price.
The development also comes inclusive of high-speed Wi-Fi which is free of charge and included when you live with us.

Do you accept couples in studio and one-bedroom apartments?
Yes we do accept couples, living in our studio and one-bedroom apartments - for no extra cost! Enquire today for more details.
How often are the communal areas cleaned?
The communal areas will be kept clean at all times. They will be cleaned professionally at least once a month if not more. In busy periods this could be more often.
Does LIVEOASIS have bicycle storage?
Yes. LIVEOASIS has bike storage facilities. These will be secure and available for tenants.
Do you accept pets at LIVEOASIS?
No. Unfortunately we do not accept pets at LIVEOASIS.
Can I move in before my tenancy start date?
This is at the discretion of the landlord but generally will only be possible if the tenant before you moves out early and also agrees to you moving in earlier.
Will I get my deposit back?
You will get your deposit back in full at the end of your tenancy as long the rent and bills are paid in full, the property is cleaned to high standards and there are no damages (fair wear and tear expected).
Do I need my own insurance for my flat?
We recommend that all tenants purchase their own contents insurance. However, the property you will live in is insured as a building to the legal requirements of the United Kingdom
How do I report an issue with my flat?
We use Fixflo to report and track maintenance issues. You can find that here: https://ypp.fixflo.com/Auth/HomeIssueCreate.
Will there be car parking?
No, unfortunately no car-parking is available. There might be spaces available at our other residential developments nearby. Enquire for more details.
Can I extend my tenancy contract?
Yes, however you need to check with one of YPP’s lettings consultants for what period of time is allowed (on rare occasions this may not be available).
Cycling around the city
Fancy going green and using a bike to get around Leeds? Well you can, and there's lots of information and options available.
For general cycling information, you can visit the Leeds Cycling website. Cycling routes are available through the Sustrans website and you can obtain printed copies of the Leeds cycle map free of charge by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don't have your own bike? Well, the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University offer affordable bike hire which lets you explore the city. You will need a deposit and then you pay for the usage. You can find out more about these cycle hire scheme here:
Public transport information
You can use public transport to easily access Leeds city centre and the surrounding area. Head to the Metro Travel Planner and see how long it would take for your journey. You can also see when the next bus is by using NextBus.

Rail Travel / National Rail
Rail services can be searched on National Rail website, which always offers the cheapest alternative for each trip and redirects the user to the correspondent operator website, where tickets can be bought without any additional booking fee.
This is great if you want to explore Yorkshire, travel to Manchester or take a trip to London.
Railcard Discount / 33% discount
Anyone aged 16 to 25, or over 25 and in full-time education can get a Railcard and obtain a 33% discount
off Standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Standard Advanced and First Class Advanced fares.
Its cost is £30 for a whole year and £70 for three years. It can be purchased here.

They both offer low-fare trips to multiple destinations across the UK and have special discounts for students. National Express have their own Coachcard for anyone aged 16 to 26, 26+ and in full-time study which allows their holders to get 33% discounts in all trips and 10% on special services to festivals. The price is £10 per year or £25 for three years, with extra £2 administration fees. The card can be obtained online here. In addition, National Express offers 25% discount to holders of the National Union of Students (NUS) Card holders (this card and related information can be obtained here).
Buses are an easy way to travel around Leeds. MetroLine advisors can provide detailed information on West Yorkshire bus and train journey times. The line is open from 7am-8pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 8pm on Sunday, except Christmas Day and New Years Day – call 0113 245 7676.

The LUU Nightbus
This service is provided by Leeds University Students’ Union and allows residents who are currently
studying to travel from the entrance of the University of Leeds Union building to their doorstep for £1.
To get the bus students need to book a place at the entrance of the Union with the security team an
hour before the time they want to travel due to limited spaces.
This service does not travel beyond the Leeds outer ring road, Wade Lane and Belgrave Street

Car clubs and car sharing
Leeds car club partner, Enterprise Car Club, offers an alternative to car ownership by providing you with the opportunity to drive new, reliable cars and only pay for the time you actually use them. For more information about Enterprise Car Club visit www.enterprisecarclub.co.uk.
Car sharing is when two or more people, usually heading to the same destination, travel together by car for all or part of a journey. The West Yorkshire Car Share scheme is available for anyone to find car sharing matches at www.wycarshare.com
